A young man has become the target of online mockery after developing a bizarre keloid behind his ear — one that has taken on the shape of female genitalia.
The unusual scar formed slowly over time, starting as a small irritation and gradually expanding into a raised, fleshy growth. As the keloid became more defined, it began to resemble something unexpected — the shape of a vagina.
“At first, I thought it was just a scar from shaving or an allergic reaction,” he shared. “But then people started pointing it out… laughing, joking, even taking pictures behind my back.”
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, says that once the photo of his keloid went viral on social media, he became the subject of cruel jokes and online bullying. “They called me names, made memes, and mocked me publicly. It destroyed my confidence.”
Medical experts clarify that keloids are non-cancerous overgrowths of scar tissue that can form after skin trauma, such as piercings, acne, or even minor scratches. Their shape and size depend on how the skin heals — and sometimes, that process leads to unusual or even embarrassing results.
Despite the humiliation, the man has decided to speak out in hopes of raising awareness.
“People don’t realize how damaging their words can be. This isn’t something I chose. It’s just how my body healed.”

He is currently consulting with a plastic surgeon to discuss removal options — but more importantly, he hopes his story will remind others to be kind.
