A heartbreaking accident took place earlier today when an ultralight aircraft crashed onto the A4 highway near Brescia, northern Italy. The crash claimed the lives of both people on board — 75-year-old Sergio Ravaglia and 50-year-old Anna Maria De Stefano.
The plane had taken off from Piacenza but tragically went down, exploding upon impact. Incredibly, no vehicles were hit directly. However, two drivers suffered minor injuries after driving through the fiery wreckage.
