On May 16, 2025, six-year-old Aëla Rolland took her final breath after a brave and heartbreaking battle with DIPG — a rare and aggressive pediatric brain tumor. Though her time on Earth was short, her impact was profound.
Born on December 31, 2018, at the edge of one year and the dawn of the next, Aëla entered the world like a quiet miracle. From the very beginning, she carried a rare gentleness, a radiant joy, and a deep sensitivity to the world around her.
She loved to sing. To dance. To dream. Her laughter filled every room. Her imagination knew no bounds. And even in her most difficult days — when her illness slowly took away her ability to move, speak, and eat — she never lost her light.
Her mother, Meg Rolland, shared:
“With a very heavy heart and great sorrow, Aëla flew into the sky with Peter Pan this morning, near Paulin and me.”
Aëla didn’t just pass away — she flew.
She now lives on in every melody, every twirl, every soft giggle, and every child who dares to believe in magic.
She is Forever Six. Forever loved. Forever remembered.
She taught us that life isn’t measured by years, but by the love we give and the joy we share.
🕊️ Rest in peace, sweet Aëla.
Your light will never fade.
