A bizarre and unexpected event unfolded at a local zoo today when a small monkey, known for his playful behavior, suddenly died after sniffing a female visitor’s buttocks.
Witnesses say everything happened in a matter of seconds. The woman was bending near the enclosure to take a selfie with the monkey when, driven by curiosity—or perhaps instinct—the monkey approached and took what turned out to be his final sniff. Moments later, he was seen stumbling back a few steps before collapsing to the ground, lifeless.
One zookeeper commented on the incident, saying:
“I can’t believe it… Chimi had seen a lot in life, but this… this was the last straw.”
Veterinarians declared the monkey’s death as a result of severe aromatic shock, adding that the event was “beyond any known biological protocol.”
The woman involved in the incident left the scene without making a statement, but has since gone viral on social media, with some users dubbing her “a walking chemical weapon.”

Zoo officials have announced a moment of silence in memory of the fallen monkey and have issued a warning to visitors not to bend near animal enclosures, in hopes of preventing similar tragedies.
